Keyboard and Piano Recommendations
For a piano, I recommend any brand. I would avoid finding one in the paper unless you have someone look at it before you purchase.
For a keyboard, I recommend at least 61 keys with touch sensitivity. My preferred brand is Yamaha. Keyboards are easy to purchase if you dont’ have an intrument to practice on:

Do you teach how to read sheet music?
Absolutely! I teach note reading throughout the entire curriculum. The free lessons cover the beginning stages of reading music.

How long will it take me to learn how to play the piano?
These lessons are presented in a sequence and format that cuts the learning time in more than half! The level you can reach with these lessons takes about 2 years to complete with traditional weekly lessons with a teacher. Does the members lessons teach to play by ear?
My specialty is in teaching you how to read sheet music so you can play anything you want to by just reading the music. Though I train your ear for tone and rhythm, I do not have any lessons specifically for learning to play entire songs by ear.
