Does the piano lesson program provide ways for a student to use or showcase their new talent?

When learning piano with a live piano teacher, it is common practice to provide performance opportunities to students, either through recitals, contests or mini concerts. Although it is a challenge to do this online, it can be done.

A piano lesson program should include extra curricular activities that allows a student to either showcase or perform a song. You might be thinking… no I don’t want to do that, or you might think you are too shy, but the power behind preparing a song for performance, verses never getting the opportunity can be the difference between staying stagnant, or making leaps and bounds in your progress.

Online recitals, contests or having access to post your songs for others to listen to is important to your success.
