I chose the Leatherback sea turtle as my endangered species to write about because
it’s really cool, and it’s a fast turtle instead of a slow turtle.

This is a sea turtle so it lives in the ocean.

Its called a leatherback
turtle because its shell is like leather instead of hard.

This turtle swims a long long way.  It can cross the whole pacific ocean,
and the atlantic ocean also.

They are endangered because their eggs get collected and they get caught
by accident in nets when fisherman fish.
