Merry Christmas 2001

Please excuse the camera movement! My 14 year old daughter did the filming for me and she does not have very steady hands.

I hope this video finds you well.

Most of you know that on December 1, 2011 my 18 year old son was diagnosed with cancer. It’s been a very challenging few weeks since we received the news. I have not been myself at all, and having a hard time keeping up on simple tasks like doing laundry, cooking and answering emails. I am caring for Jacob 24/7 right now and hardly have time for anything.

However, I feel very thankful for the many blessings in our lives. God has shown us so many tender mercies, too numerous to count. For every challenge He deals out, he deals out even more tender mercies in our behalf…these tender mercies are easy to spot as long as you are looking for them.

I know He is watching over us and carrying us through this challenge. I appreciate all of you and your prayers and support.
